The UHP Peer Mentor Program matches incoming first-year students with returning UHP students. Mentors use their knowledge of campus life and resources as well as their personal experiences to provide invaluable advice and guidance to mentees. Interest forms for incoming first-years will be available in August.

When she started at UC Davis she felt excited for this new change in her life and very welcomed as she felt at home and had a great group of friends around to support and encourage her. As she joined UHP her second year, her advice to incoming students is to keep up with your studies and take advantage of professor's office hours, tutoring in the library, and your advisors, be active in student clubs on campus, and overall just enjoy your college experience and be open to trying new things.
