On campus, she is an undergraduate research assistant in the Kost lab, analyzing diagnostic test critical values to standardize clinical pathology notification lists, BioLaunch mentor, member of Alpha Chi Omega and UCD Hunter Jumper Team. As a peer mentor, she wants to be able to help students succeed in their transition from high school to college and help them navigate academic and personal challenges that may come from this transition as she too was in their spot 2 years ago. When she started at UC Davis she felt excited for this new change in her life and very welcomed as she felt at home and had a great group of friends around to support and encourage her. As she joined UHP her second year, her advice to incoming students is to keep up with your studies and take advantage of professor's office hours, tutoring in the library, and your advisors, be active in student clubs on campus, and overall just enjoy your college experience and be open to trying new things.
